Minimum Age?
Surf Camp requires the children to be between the ages of 7 and 17. Lessons with younger children (ages 5 and 6) require a private lesson, rather than a group lesson
Do you have to know how to swim?
Yes. Each participant must be a proficient and confident swimmer in the ocean. Life vests cannot be worn.
What do I need to bring to my lesson/ camp?
- Swimsuit (wear upon arrival)
- Sunscreen (wear upon arrival)
- Shoes to wear to the beach
- Towel to use after lesson
- Water bottle
Can I store my stuff somewhere?
We provide lockers for small personal belongings
After lesson, can I rent equipment?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide rental equipment after the lesson. We will guide you to the Ron Jon Watersports for all your rental needs, within a block of our surf school.
Payment?
We are able to accept all major credit cards, as well as CA$H. We are able to accept checks for camp payment only.
What times do you do lessons?
Our surf lessons run year round. With the first one at 9am. The last 1 hour lesson going out at 3:30pm
Can we tip our instructor?
Our instructors are allowed to accept tips/gratuity as you see suitable.
